So what's it all about?

Underneath We Are is an extraordinary book featuring over 100 raw and untouched images of women and gender diverse people, along with their powerful stories. Underneath We Are is an honest look at the beauty of diversity. It shares the struggles and triumphs over body image and captures each individual beautifully and honestly.
The aim was to photograph 100 women and gender diverse people. People of all walks of life, shapes, sizes and age. AND, photograph them in nothing but their underwear, or less! Yep, thats right, I asked 100 people to bare (almost) all, with the end goal of showcasing the beauty in diversity.  The images were collated, along with each of their incredible stories and printed into a large scale coffee table photo book.

VISIBILITY is key to giving people a better understanding and appreciation for the diversity of women and gender diverse people and the ways in which they grow, shape and change over time and with different life experiences. And what better way to educate than through honest and uplifting photographs?
